Tooth Fillings

If decay or a cavity is present, a filling can be placed once the tooth is cleaned and shaped. Depending on the location of the filling and with long-term prognosis in mind, one of several different types of restorative material may be used. Our specialists have a thorough understanding of material science, modern technology and possess the dexterity to provide you with a beautiful, strong restoration.

Often times after the decay is removed, there is not enough tooth structure remaining to hold a simple filling.  The tooth may then require an inlay, onlay or crown.  Those decisions are made while conserving as much tooth structure as possible.

After your appointment, please follow the post-operative instructions given by your prosthodontist.
